Fergie met the 91-year old, Anti-Apartheid activist while in South Africa, before performing with her band, the Black Eyes Peas, at the World Cup kick off. While meeting with Mandela, Fergie said he flirted with her. Fergie admitted to flirt back with him.
Witnessing the World Cup kick off made a big impact on the band. The Black Eyed Peas thought it was amazing to see so many countries come together for the event. However, meeting Mandela was the biggest moment for Fergie.“It was one of the best moments of my life,” she said. “20 years ago this would not have been possible in South Africa.”
Perhaps Mandela was attracted to Fergie’s sexy outfit that she wore during her World Cup kick off concert performance. Fergie wore long claws on her fingers and a metallic bodysuit.
